People who are homeless and marginally-housed struggle with the most basic necessities: food, shelter…even having someone to listen. Whether its nutritious hot meals, primary and mental health care, housing and daytime shelter, harm reduction, case management, or one-to-one counselling, our safe, welcoming spaces offer services that help the most vulnerable people in the city with their most pressing needs, while looking at long-term solutions for the root causes of homelessness. Together with our partners, we develop programs that respond to people’s changing needs, and bridge the gap between survival and healthy, stable lives.

Urban Health & Homelessness FAQs

  • Do you offer trustee programs?
Yes, our Voluntary Trustee Program helps people with a history of substance use and homelessness by providing money management and housing stabilization assistance.
  • Do you offer medical services?
Yes. We work with many partners to improve access to health services for people who are homeless, and struggle with poor mental health and substance use issues. Our Corner Drop-in has a clinic where people can see nurses, doctors and a psychiatrist. Programs like iPHARE and TCAT offer harm reduction services, while many of our programs offer wrap-around support where referrals to health care providers are readily available.
